Celebrating Our First Trophy: A Landmark Year for Social Impact

This year, we reached a significant milestone as a social enterprise—we won our very first trophy, the Social Impact Award! This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work put into Pic-A-Talk AAC, and it would not have been possible without the support of our partners, mentors, and community.

A crucial part of our success has been the support we received from the Department of Science and Technology – PCIEERD. Their backing in product development and market validation played a pivotal role in shaping Pic-A-Talk AAC into an impactful and adaptable tool for individuals with speech and communication challenges. With their help, we’ve been able to make Pic-A-Talk AAC a transformative resource that empowers users across various communities.

Equally important in our journey has been the mentorship and guidance from ASEAN SEDP and DOHE Go-Together. Their coaching helped us navigate the complexities of running a social enterprise, ensuring that we were well-equipped to face operational challenges and scale our impact. Their wisdom and support have been invaluable as we continue to grow.

Our affiliate partners have also played a critical role in our progress. By trusting us with their clients and working alongside us, they’ve helped expand our reach and the impact of Pic-A-Talk AAC. Their collaboration has been essential in building a strong foundation for the success we are celebrating today.

A special mention goes to our impact partners, including the Fenixia Foundation, Inc., ASEAN Foundation, and the various JCI chapters we have worked with. Through initiatives like MindSCAPES and TWINKLE, we have been able to raise awareness and provide support to individuals across the country. These programs have allowed us to touch lives and create lasting change, further demonstrating the power of collaboration in achieving social impact.
